Hello! My name is Ashley Bailey. I am the Center Manager for Word of Truth. I obtained my degree in Child Development from Marygrove College. I have worked for Head Start programs in both Michigan and Ohio.

Prior to becoming a Center Manager, I worked as a Teacher and Family Advocate. Part of my role as Center Manager is to keep abreast of, and advocate for the Early Childhood profession. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and attend the annual Head Start Association conferences. Being a part of these professional networks allow me the opportunity to share information with our staff and build knowledge.

I take great pride in knowing that Matrix Head Start provides quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment while also building relationships and providing resources for our families. We have a wonderful staff at Word of Truth that is dedicated to enhancing the early childhood learning experience. I look forward to servicing you and your family!
